Nazia Zaman is a public health professional working at the intersection of health systems, policy coordination, and population health. Her commitment to public health began during her medical studies, when she first encountered the field of community medicine and realized that improving health at the population level could transform the lives of millions of people.

Since then, she has remained deeply committed to strengthening health systems and advancing equitable access to healthcare. Through her work with the Health Sector Reforms Unit in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, she contributes to coordination between government institutions, districts, and development partners to support evidence-based health policies and program implementation.

Beyond professional responsibilities, Nazia believes that health is a fundamental human right and that sustainable progress for humanity depends on cooperation, dialogue, and collective responsibility. At a time when the world faces increasing global challenges—from conflict to environmental pressures—she believes that solutions must come through collaboration and understanding rather than violence.
